Manuka Honey Drops TA12+ (MGO 400)

We craft Australian by Nature Manuka Honey Drops from pure TA12+ (MGO 400) Manuka Honey. The specially dehydrated and molded honey ensures a delightful slow dissolve in the mouth.

Manuka is the Native New Zealand Maori name for the leptospermum scoparium tree. Australian by Nature sources Manuka Honey from our own apiaries in far north New Zealand. Honeybees actively produce this honey, collecting nectar from beehives in high-density, organic, and pollution-free Manuka Forests. Manuka Honey is extremely stable and not affected by light, heat nor dilution making it very effective in many applications. Australian by Nature Manuka Honey used in making our Manuka Drops is 100% natural. New Zealand Manuka Honey is the purest source of Manuka Honey in the world. The reason is that the forests primarily feature a single Manuka species, minimising contamination from other plant varieties.

Harvesting & Production

After harvesting Manuka from beehives, we actively filter and package it to retain its natural properties. Fresh Manuka undergoes careful packing in one of New Zealand’s highly accredited facilities, following labelling standards set by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI). Manuka Honey is extremely stable, not affected by light, heat nor dilution making it very effective in many applications.

Quality Guarantee

We actively test and certify each batch of Australian by Nature New Zealand Manuka Honey used in our Manuka Honey Drops 12+. An accredited laboratory conducts the testing under the ISO17025 standard for its MGO (Methylglyoxal), and the conclusive results proudly feature on our label. For example, MGO 400 (TA12+) Manuka Honey assures there is a minimum of 400mg of MGO (methylglyoxal) per kg.

The Molan Gold Standard™ actively certifies and assesses the natural marker methylglyoxal in New Zealand Manuka Honey, receiving government acceptance. Molan Gold Standard offers our consumers full confidence their purchase has an accurate, scientifically conducted measurement of the claimed MGO (methylglyoxal) content.

The Molan Gold Standard™ was developed and named after the scientist who discovered the special antibacterial properties of New Zealand Manuka Honey when applied topically. Dr Peter Molan MBE. Dr Molan is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading honey scientists and has been carrying out research on honey since 1981, publishing many well-known papers in international scientific and medical journals.
